A little bit about our team:
Digital Operations is a cross-functional team that sits at the center of Warner Music Group within the Artist Services division. We support our frontline labels and territory teams in their mission to bring our artists’ music to millions of fans around the world. We’re the backbone of the marketing team, delivering project management, governance, and production functions that efficiently scales with quality and consistency. With a solid foundation in existing technology stacks, databases, content management systems, and CRM tools, we bring our expertise to existing projects and adapt nimbly to new challenges.
Why this could be your next big break:
The Content Coordinator is an integral part of the team, overseeing the organization and publishing of assets and content for a vast portfolio of artist and label websites. You will be involved with campaigns that will reach millions of music fans around the world and contribute to the success of some of the best and biggest artists. You’ll work with a talented and data driven team of Project Managers, Digital Designers, UX Designers, Developers, CRM Managers, and Digital Marketers. Here you’ll get to:
• Work with Digital Marketers to collect, organize, publish and maintain website content, ensuring that marketing, CRM, and UX best practices are followed.
• Mitigate spam activity on artist websites and forums and help the web platform team strengthen system-wide anti-spam measures.
• Manage website SEO best practices and optimization.
• Configure and monitor user generated content tools and platforms, such as fan community forums and social visualization apps.
• Work with developers and engineers to assess, document, and resolve any technical challenges or bugs affecting websites
• Resize photo or images assets as needed.
• Develop user guides, document content publishing procedures, and train stakeholders on the content management system (CMS).
• Provision and manage site user accounts
• Perform manual end-to-end functional tests on website builds and digital campaigns. Verify that the fan journey is comprehensive.
• Ensure privacy policies and legal guidelines are enforced.
Rockstar candidates have:
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills with ability to initiate and drive improvements.
• Familiarity with project management techniques and tools (Basecamp, JIRA, Gantt Charts).
• Experience in excelling within fast-paced, high energy environments.
• Ability to execute on simultaneous projects with tight deadlines.
• Superior customer service orientation and approach.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including strong editing, grammar, and proofreading skills.
• Experience using a content management system (CMS), such as Drupal and other web tools/platforms.
• General understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and XML.
• Strong ability to exercise critical thinking in a technical environment.
It would be music to our ears if you also had:
• You have 1-2 years of relevant experience in Music, entertainment, or digital agency internships
• Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
