We are a team of Experience Designers working across Condé Nast brands. We exist to envision and create compelling, cohesive and lasting digital products and experiences. At the core of our efforts is a deep understanding of the functional and emotional needs of our users over time.

● Proven approach for leading design teams through framing and solving hard problems
● Confident driver of innovative efforts that uncover new value with new kinds of end-to-end experiences
● Spearheads new creative and strategic thinking; draws from a broad methodological toolkit
● Low ego, understands personal success is directly linked to the team’s success
As a teammate, you make strategy concrete. You provide a “north star” and communicate this vision to the team, organization and design community.
● Ability to frame end-to-end experiences and establish the processes/mindsets to achieve them
● Establishes a philosophy and mindset for how the Design Team approaches its work
● Works seamlessly with engineering, product, and brands to set the agenda for the company
● Builds and nurtures relationships with cross-functional leads, stakeholders and brand teams
● Contributes to cross-functional meetings through feedback and review
As an advocate, you ensure that design is set up to succeed in the larger organization, clearing a path for design and creating a space where design can thrive.
● Exceptional people and project management skills; actively contributes to establishing the organizational structure, defining roles, and managing headcount
● Practiced at prioritizing, focusing the efforts of the Design Team on what matters most based on larger business strategies and objectives.
● Offers meaningful opportunities to members of the team, provides career guidance and raises the performance of the Design Team
● Lives the culture and helps set the direction, vision, style and methodology for the Design Team
You may also have:
● A love of cultural brands and an interest in driving the future of storytelling which will help frame the larger context we are working within, including the nature of an advertising-driven business
● Involvement with the design community in NYC and at large as we increase the visibility of Condé Nast’s growing capabilities across digital strategy and experiences
