Job Summary:
Exposure to a broad range of media/radio disciplines with an emphasis on digital/social applications.
Responsibilities
• May rotate through various radio functions as needed, but, focus will be primarily on digital operations.
• Assists in the creation of user-friendly web application designs, ensures easy navigation, organizes content, and integrates graphics and audio that appeal to targeted audience.
• Assists in general office tasks.
• Administers controls and maintains media assets.
• Learns job processes / requirements in assigned functions.
• Assists in day-to-day website maintenance for radio station(s).
• Serves as an apprentice in assigned function.
• Works closely with Digital Content Director, Digital Sales Manager, Graphic Designers and Program
• Directors to execute creative online promotions/contests.
Qualifications
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills; active listening; effectively conveying information; ability to proofread and edit.
• Planning and organizing: focusing on urgent and important tasks; avoiding procrastination; showing attention to detail; meeting deadlines
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms, e.g., Twitter, Facebook, Instagram
• Leadership in peer relationships
• Functional knowledge of interactive technologies and trends
• Demonstrated ability to learn new technology quickly
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment, sharing projects, knowledge and experience
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Flexibility; can adapt to shifts in priorities and urgencies
• Stress tolerance & flexibility especially when working under pressure and on multiple projects with tight deadlines
• High degree of attention to detail and optimal work standards

• Work experience in media field a plus

Education
