The Business Analyst, Marketing Communications role will focus on delivering analysis, standard and ad-hoc reports, and dashboard views to demonstrate marketing performance against quarterly goals. This role will be critical in driving a company-wide understanding of marketing performance and value through a data-driven approach to understanding the effectiveness of marketing tactics.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop measurable data sources for all Marketing Communications channels (email, website, social, paid media, webinars, etc.) and work with marketing team to define metrics.
• Work with cross-functional teams to understand their business needs in order to deliver standard reporting and ad-hoc analyses
• Work with the Business Intelligence team to ensure dashboards have the right data and are presented in the most effective ways to measure marketing goals.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure Pinterest is taking the best approach to measuring business outcomes
• Analyze large datasets and partner with Sales, Product and Marketing teams to identify actionable insights.
What we’re looking for:
• 5+ years of experience in marketing/business analysis
• Great communication skills, and an ability to directly communicate with senior business leaders, embed yourself with business teams, and present solutions to business stakeholders
• Experience working independently and driving projects end to end using analysis and analytics
