The Role:
We are looking for a Marketing Analyst to join Ticketmaster and support product initiatives and provide analysis & planning across business platforms. The goal of this role is to provide strategic reporting, analysis, and support optimization projects that drive revenue growth and improve product features.
The ideal candidate will be a strong data analyst with a background in online/ecommerce business with knowledge of a/b testing and optimization projects. The candidate thrives on innovating in a fast-paced environment. Ability to successfully manage complex projects and roll outs to tight deadlines stimulatingly is a must.
Responsibilities:
• Measure, report and analyze results across products, channel, platform and other performance segments.
• Be an expert in customer data, and help to identify and fill data gaps, using internal resources and outside vendors.
• Have responsibility for monthly Product KPI reports and optimization projects and work to ensure these reports meet the teams’ needs.
• Collaborate with other functional teams, e.g., Desktop, Mobile, Product, Strategy, Marketing, to understand the impact of analysis across multiple areas of the business.
• Share expertise and best practices with analytical functions across product managers to develop sound strategies to deliver on future projects.
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 2-3 years of business experience in online/digital companies handling and analyzing large data sets to successfully drive conclusions
• Able to write and run SQL queries to pull data.
• Strong Excel skills - must be comfortable analyzing large quantities of data utilizing Excel, create complex formulas, pivots and develop models.
• Exceptional project management skills, driving multiple initiatives and roll outs to tight deadlines.
• Exceptional quantitative, analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to draw insights and recommendations from analysis and present proposals to internal stakeholders.
• Able to work quickly, able to experiment and amend approach based on data analysis and results.
• Experience in defining and executing tests based on a specific set of assumptions/ Hypothesis and goals, iterate and continue improvements as required.
• Must have expertise in Omniture, Google Analytics Premium and other web analytic tools
