Job Summary:
The Strategic Partnerships team is charged with identifying, cultivating, and developing strong partnerships and businesses to deliver the best products. The Strategic Partner Manager is a key member of the team, having the unique opportunity to create a long-lasting relationship with our top partners. You will create new and cultivate existing partnerships to make sure the companies each take full advantage of each other's capabilities and assets.
Core Responsibilities:
• Serve as the first point of contact for a key set of high-profile partners. Coordinate with internal stakeholders and business units to ensure that all deals and working conversations represent interests across Comcast & NBCU.
• Use strong relationship-building skills to find win-win opportunities.
• Manage through conflicts with a calm demeanor and a focus on long term value creation. Proactively monitor, assess, and recommend solutions as issues arise.
• Foster individual professional relationships.
• Direct responsibility for monitoring the performance of current agreements and influencing changes as needed.
• Proactively identify and respond to requests from potential partners and evaluate opportunities.
• Support technical teams to analyze new initiatives and recommend best models of engagement.
• Perform financial analyses and supports other analysis and business planning as necessary.
• Documents current and forecasted status of each relationship, spanning technology, product, financial, and contracts.
• Able to manage through ambiguous and complex situations.
• Collaborates with colleagues across the organization, including Product, Legal, Public Relations, Business Units, Marketing, Government Relations, and Regional Network functions
• Leads strategic planning process for key accounts and promotes ongoing strategic development.
• Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and travel as necessary.

Job Specification:
• Bachelors Degree or Equivalent
• Generally requires 12+ years related experience
Additional Desired Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will be an experienced business development executive who has a passion for managing complex business relationships. A proven track record driving projects to closure with quantifiable results will be required.
The successful candidate must have a strong desire to be part of a fast moving team and have understanding of advanced video distribution and fixed line high speed data technologies. This executive will have a strong grasp of traditional Technology and Communications (cable/MSO) convergence in new media as well as excellent understanding of technology companies and their strategic goals. Deep knowledge of and relationships with technology companies a plus as is experience with software and intellectual property.

• Ability to effectively evangelize a new partnership internally and in the marketplace; strong conceptual ability in how to create a value proposition for partners and Comcast.
• Experience building financial models and business plans for partnerships or new business opportunities.
• Smart business executive who can deal with complexity and think strategically as well as innovatively about a wide range of deals; experience in accessing, summarizing and reporting on documents.
• Solutions orientated business executive; ability to think fast and move quickly to find the right offerings that will meet partner needs.
• Thoroughly comfortable with latest technology tools, technologies and devices.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel, MS Word and PowerPoint.

• Ability to communicate the higher-level business and strategic goals of the organization to both internal and external senior management.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to pragmatically evaluate commercial concerns and customer/partner needs.
