Video Editor- Humankind
We’re looking for a natural-born video storyteller to join Humankind’s team to tell stories about acts of kindness, out of the ordinary triumphs and special relationships. If you can turn on feels at the drop of a hat through your editing, we need you! We need someone with the passion to make Humankind’s content is full of emotion and powerful motion graphics.
The Humankind Digital Video Editor will work alongside Humankind’s current production staff to edit and potentially produce multiple videos per day, with the goal of getting them in front of as many people as possible on social media platforms. The ideal candidate should be excited about using various forms of content to evoke feelings and emotions from our various audiences. We’re looking for someone with the unique ability to mix video editing and motion graphics seamlessly into a finished product that works for social.
This editor will work with the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically After Effects and Premiere. The ideal Humankind Digital Video Editor candidate will also dig into templates to optimize and change graphics as our brand evolves. The ideal editor candidate is excited to see their content go viral and passionate about the success of the brand as a whole. The ideal candidate is a team player with excellent communication skills, is quick to respond and receptive to feedback. Humankind is a good-news brand launched by THE USA TODAY NETWORK, the largest newspaper publisher in the country.
