This position reports to the Manager of Sales Operations & Deal Management to support Basic Cable and internal SPT channel/network activities, coordinating interdepartmental information and projects. The Sales Operations & Deal Management department is responsible for all deal functions (e.g., managing rights, licensing terms, exclusivity, financial terms, execution of sales agreements, etc.) for Basic Cable, Network, Pay, Syndication and New Media Sales/Customers within Sony Pictures Television (U.S.).
Responsibilities:
• Act as a hub of information for divisions within Sony Pictures Television and Sony Pictures Entertainment and assist in workflows between Sales Operations & Deal Management and other departments including Sales Planning, Business Affairs, WPF and Finance.
• Expeditious and accurate entry of U.S. Domestic Distribution deals into the rights management and financial systems.
• Relay complicated rights and financial information to Sales, Business Affairs and Finance in a concise and accurate manner.
• Communicate between SPT U.S. Domestic Distribution and WPF on shipping requests and approve all shipping requests based on paperwork status and approval from Credit for All Medias. Requires interpretation of materials clause in contracts.
• Interpret complex contractual payment terms and revenue avails. Includes entering deals into the financial system that has companywide impact and performing internal crosschecks to verify that each contract meets SOX compliancy and is 100% accurate.
• Ad-hoc reporting based on the needs of the various departments that SPT U.S. Domestic Distribution interacts with.
• Provide administrative support related to contract management, which includes:
◦ Uploading all deal related correspondence and documents into the rights management system
◦ Ensure electronic and hard copy fully executed agreements are obtained, distributed, and stored for all those to access

Required Experience
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
