Summary
Will be responsible for engaging, upgrading, and retaining our customers. This role will develop and execute engagement programs, including managing and optimizing the email and digital campaign process-primarily focused on our new mobile product line. Role is heavily weighted in email, as specialist will ensure campaigns utilize best email practices, provide relevancy with smart segmentation, and drive engagement by delivering our best content and message to ensure our customers are excited to receive our messages. Core responsibilities are supervising the production of customer email communications which includes working with cross functional and agency partners to create, target, and launch campaigns. Will also utilize measurement tools to track email and digital performance rates, and coordinate message across other customer channels.
Core Responsibilities
-Create and execute email marketing campaigns, including overall customer engagement email calendar
-Targeting and segmentation of email campaigns, plus validate customer segmentation logic and audience counts
-Handle operational details in a roll up your sleeves' way-including working with Senior Email Mgr and Senior Email Ops Mgr on campaign tracking and set up, and list verification.
-Design and execute tests in conjunction with agency that support key hypotheses and deliver actionable learnings
-Partner and support cross functional, business and divisional teams to drive business objectives while protecting/growing the size and engagement of our active customer email list
-Recommend, develop and implement strategies, creative and operations of the customer email channel
-Work with our email agency and internal brand and customer experience teams to develop and review creative and copy, as well as overall email template
-Drive continual test and learn in partnership with agency partner, and make recommendations for changes that will increase email effectiveness based on the findings
-Maintain team plan of record, as well as media priorities which include ROS, addressable & editorial placements
-Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
-Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
Education Level - Bachelors Degree or Equivalent
Field of Study-Business, Marketing, Communications and PR
Years Experience - Generally requires 5-7 years related experience; 2-4 plus years' experience in e-mail marketing, brand, digital and/ promotion management
-Experience executing email marketing programs with a major email service vendor
-Strong time management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with many concurrent, overlapping campaigns and across many teams.
-Collaborate and build and maintain relationship, including internal and external team members.
-Must be flexible and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, changing environment.
-Pro-active, entrepreneurial, creative and self-motivated work style
-Detail oriented with a high degree of organization and accuracy.
-Identify and trouble shoot issues, formulate plans to resolve, and effectively communicate the results to senior management
-Must possess creative, analytical and strategic thinking skills with a customer lens
-Editorial eye with regards to both email copy and design specifications
-Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to convey marketing plans and results to all levels of the organization.
