SUMMARY
The VP, CAAT, Technology serves as leader within Comcast Internal Audit organization. This position has responsibility for the company's technology internal audit function, inclusive of assessing and enhancing effectiveness of risk management, governance, and operational processes across the company as it relates to the Company's technological infrastructure. In addition, this position will assist with the governance of the company's data security and cyber capabilities, and assess and recommend internal controls, policies and procedures to mitigate risk and enhance security.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Internal Audit
• Oversee Internal Audit engagements with all divisions, business units and locations of Comcast with specific focus on Technology scope areas.
• Support the General Auditor in developing and executing the strategic vision of the Department. Ensure that Audit Universe entity-based approach is used to obtain appropriate coverage levels across the 5-year audit cycle.
• Direct multiple and simultaneous projects of varying complexity to ensure completion of the annual Comcast VP Assurance and Advisory Team Engagement Plan.
• Maintain ongoing interactions with Corporate and business unit management, technology management peers, CAAT peers/team and the SVP/General Auditor. Manage continuous risk assessment process for all technology aspects of the business and prioritze changes to the engagement plan and methodology accordingly.
• Assist the SVP/General Auditor in developing and presenting audit issues to management and the Audit Committee.
• Demonstrate high quality oral and written communication. Deal regularly with all levels of Company management throughout the audits. Keep client and the General Auditor informed of audit status and important issues as they arise.
• Exemplify the highest degree of trust and integrity by continually upholding the principles of professional standards.
• Interact with the Company's external auditors and others to develop a network of peers to stay current of trends, rules, and regulations in the industry and profession.
• Serve as a constant resource for the team and company-related to emerging risk themes and audit practices across the industry and profession, including being a Comcast ambassador externally facing the internal audit profession.
• Participate in various Department administrative and organizational areas. These include recruiting, staffing, scheduling, preparation of the annual budget, staff performance evaluations, etc.
• Lead and develop team of 20+ employees. Conduct periodic performance reviews and participate in the hiring, salary planning, and promotion process for audit professionals.
• Direct special projects and other key initiatives as required.
• Plan and manage an annual budget and allocate resources.
Security Risk
• Assist with governance efforts related to the total company's data security and cyber capabilities.
• Integrate cyber risks and testing into all internal audit engagements and build awareness of cyber fundamentals across the entire Internal Audit department (technology and non-technology auditors)
• Partner with leadership that manages cyber security within each operating business, where such roles exist, to optimize each operation's specific needs, with consideration of corporate-wide standards.
• Collaborate with key relevant relationships to respond to information security incidents and assist as requested in cyber investigations focusing on determining the method, scope, implications, and root cause of the incident.
REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or related field of study.
• Minimum of 15 years of work experience demonstrating increasing levels of responsibility.
• Industry experience (cable, telecom, entertainment) preferred.
• Approximately 30%-40% travel.
• Strong executive presence and demonstrated ability to develop strong executive relationships.
• Strong planning and organization skills with proven ability to manage large/complex projects and to synthesize and summarize voluminous information into executive presentations.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, and excellent written and oral communications and presentation skills.
• Strong employee management and team skills. Proven ability to assemble a highly effective team.
• Must be a strategic thinker and deadline-oriented.
• Combination of public accounting and/or internal audit experience preferred.
• Experience with security risk management frameworks (e.g. NIST Cybersecurity, ISO 27k, etc.)
• Strong PC skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
