Nature Research is a flagship portfolio of journals, products and services including Nature and the Nature-branded journals, dedicated to serving the scientific community.
Nature Research are currently seeking a Sales Coordinator to provide administrative support in the day to day operations and functions for NRG Commercial Sales team helping to create effective sales processes, enabling them to maximise and increase revenue by ensuring that data quality is adhered too and acted on quickly. Additional supporting the overall smooth and efficient operation of the department.
Key tasks:
Team support
• Responsible for the accurate transfer of sales data leading to the creation and distribution of invoices.
• Manage data quality that is being produced by Sales Team
• Primary point of contact for Finance queries in relation to generated invoices.
• Managing incoming queries to the sales team, directing to the relevant person or helping answer queries.
• Providing some customer support when team members are out of the office.
• Assisting the operations of the sales cycle, potentially including drawing up quotes, downloading systems statistics, updating relevant sales documents and systems.
• Daily support of Sales teams in administrative issues.
• General administrative support, including up keep of document library.
• Encourage and oversee team use of the CRM system to ensure it is used to company expectations.
Reports and Administration
• Using the available systems and liaising with sales team to provide analysis for management and finance.
• Maintaining regional compliance reports.
• Ad hoc reports and analysis for managers or publishers as required.
Systems and Operations
• Maintain the day to day Sales team admin function on key systems.
• Act as the interface between operations and Sales team for queries and support, reporting and tracking queries with appropriate systems and representatives.
• Participate in the development, planning, testing and implementation of new enhancements to existing systems.
Key relationships:
• Sales managers and Sales team.
• Other internal Sales team and management, colleagues from Customer Services, Operations, Editorial and Digital Development.
• Central and local Finance departments.
• Other regional Sales coordinators.
External
• Customers (incoming customer queries).
• System vendors.
