Full-Time. Located in Mililani Technology Park.
JOB SUMMARY
The purpose of this position is to assist the Recruiter with the employment function including recruitment and staffing. Provides ongoing development of recruitment plans.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)
Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience
Recruits, prescreens, interviews, and refers candidates for job openings.
Prepares, posts, and distributes Spectrum’s job postings to recruitment sources.
Orders newspaper advertisements, internet postings, & other media for open positions.
Prepares internal and external job postings.
Review, tracks and processes candidates through selection process.
Notifies schools, employment agencies, & other recruitment sources of current openings.
Maintains Hawaii Jobs On Demand website.
Attends Corporate Talent Acquisition training, webinars, etc. as needed.
Assists with coordinating employee transfer requests from other Spectrum locations by following the Internal Transfer Policy.
Implements close tracking of candidates for each job opening via Onboarding System (OBS) on BrassRing (BR).
Assists with creating BrassRing requisitions for approvals.
Electronic requisition folder maintenance for openings.
Opens BrassRing requisitions.
Tracks outgoing applications.
Reconcile and close BrassRing files to ensure accuracy of recruitment process and data for each requisition opening.
Works with community agencies on outreach efforts and recruitment objectives.
Participates in job fairs to further means of recruitment.
Participates with schools to further means of recruitment.
Represents the Company and presents a good public image in the community.
Volunteer for various events throughout the year.
Help maintain job fair giveaways.
Provides training to hiring managers on interviewing skills and hiring process (joint interviews).
Train departments involved in group interviews on interviewing skills and hiring process.
May assist with other HR-related duties.
Regular attendance is required.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English at a very high level
Prior experience in interpreting/explaining policies and procedures highly desired.
Able to organize and prioritize work duties and to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Word processing skills a must, i.e. Word, Excel, and Windows.
Must be articulate with excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
Able to travel.
Stable employment history.
EDUCATION
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Related college degree highly desired.
RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE Number of Years
Human Resources function with strong emphasis in Recruitment. 3+
WORKING CONDITIONS
Must be people-oriented, patient, flexible, organized, able to work independently and possess astute interpersonal, problem-solving skills.
Requires excellent judgment in dealing with confidential and sensitive matters and material.
Personal computer, typewriter, calculator, telephone, printer, copier, and facsimile machine.
May sit for long periods of time.
Typing and reading on a computer.
Communicating in-person, by telephone, and written correspondence.
Able to consistently handle a high volume of work and to work under pressure and deadlines.
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm. Additional coverage as needed.
