Pearson Clinical Assessment is currently recruiting for a Bilingual Marketing Coordinator (Full-time Position). This position is based in Don Mills.
Pearson Clinical Assessment is a leading global test publisher and distributor in the psychological, speech-language, occupational therapy, educational and human resources fields. A part of the Pearson group of companies, the company is headquartered in the U.S., with offices in Canada, Europe, and Australia. Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the VP, Pearson Assessment Canada; the Marketing Coordinator is a highly motivated self-starter. The role requires excellent project planning, communication and creativity skills together with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal sales and marketing staff to generate new business leads and achieve annual targets. A natural aptitude for client service and business development is a “must”.
How you will make a difference in marketing:
• Generating business leads to build and maintain the sales pipeline
• Collecting and organizing sales targets
• Monitoring industry trends
• Assisting with the development and execution of marketing strategy, product launches, communication plans
• Designing and preparing marketing communication materials
• Developing and managing special events and conference presence
• Overseeing the production and distribution of client communications and product collateral
• Continually seeking out innovative ways to communicate our values to clients and prospects
How you will make a difference in sales:
• Monitors sales efforts and effectiveness of marketing materials
• Identifies and executes on customer opportunities to accelerate sales cycle
• Performs occasional tasks consistent with the stated purpose of the position
• Continually liaise with Assessment consultants to share key market information, ensuring plans and targets stay on course
How you will make a difference with our online presence:
• Manages company website to ensure information is up-to-date, relevant and in alignment with corporate business priorities; including content publishing
• Responsible for planned social media updates of Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn accounts
• Assist with distribution of digital company press releases
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills & Proficiencies
• Proactive approach and attention to detail; ability to multi-task, prioritize and work efficiently
• Ability to listen, communicate (both written and verbal), bilingual: English and French
• Possess excellent grammar, spelling and proofreading skills
• Ability to perform at high levels in a fast-paced ever-changing work environment
• Ability to work independently; self-starter/willing to take ownership of assigned tasks
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Docs, Adobe InDesign, Dreamweaver, HTML (preferred)
• Microsoft Dynamics CRM experience (preferred)
• Self-initiation
Required experience:
• A minimum of five years sales and or marketing experience in a service related industry
Required education:
• Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience
