AEG Presents, the live-entertainment division of Los Angeles-based AEG, is dedicated to all aspects of live contemporary music performance: touring, one-offs, sponsorship, festivals, and special events with seventeen+ regional offices and over thirty-seven-state-of the-art venues. AEG Presents is also the largest producer of music festivals in North America from the critically acclaimed Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival to Stagecoach Country Music Festival and New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival.
The Product Manager translates business needs and requirements into design concepts and actionable user stories. The incumbent works closely with engineering teams to drive product development efforts and participate in managing project schedules, dependencies, and drive cross-functional initiatives. The incumbent will identify and track performance metrics for all products managed by the team and leverage the data with ongoing support efforts. The Product Manager will stay up to date with competitors and keep the company informed on key issues that could impact the product roadmap.
Essential Duties:
1. Write requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria. Validate choices made by senior management and track asset performance.
2. Project manage timelines for project deliverables. Engage closely with engineering teams to drive product development efforts.
3. Identify and track performance metrics for all products being managed by the team, and leverage these data in your ongoing support efforts.
4. Conduct and monitor user acceptance testing. Meet with users to validate use cases. Troubleshoot issues with systems and potential areas of user error.
5. Work with team on the preparation of product presentations. Ensure that presentations make sense and address any issues that may arise with activation and deliverability.
Required Qualifications:
1. A minimum education level of: Bachelor of Arts/Sciences Degree (4-year) in Business in Business, Marketing, Computer Science or related field
2. 4-6 years of related experience
3. Knowledge of basic coding language with proficiency in Excel and SQL
4. Experience managing products and/or projects
5. Ability to organize and prioritize in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
6. Strong understanding for marketing technology systems
7. Experience working with internal teams, partners, and management
8. Knowledge of tracking practices and marketing automations
9. Up to date with current innovations and other relevant technology
10.Startup experience preferred
