Women's Collection, Editorial Director
The Women’s Collection is looking for an experienced, creative, and dynamic editorial director to join our team and lead the development of stories and experiences for our brand partners that will resonate with our audience.
The role will include strategic development, creative and experiential execution and cross platform storytelling. The Editorial Director will guide custom content and experiences on behalf of the world’s most premium advertisers.
The right candidate will have 8+ years of experience that includes reporting, editing, feature-writing, digital media management, social media, branded content, native advertising and content marketing ideally in a like-minded media environment.
Rolodex of high-quality reporters, photographers, editors, designers and developers and strong ability to lead those teams to create content that rivals editorial quality.
Responsibilities include:
• Manage branded content campaigns from pre-sale to execution, including refining story ideas, assigning and managing freelance writers, editing stories, etc.
• Assign and edit custom branded content and sponsored editorial pieces, including but not limited to content briefs, video series, digital and print feature articles, emails, and social media
• Manage a team of freelance editors and content contributors nurturing growth and onboarding new talent as needed
• Maintain Women’s Collection editorial integrity in all copy, working with sales and marketing teams to enforce branded content best practices
• Brainstorm with Sales and Strategy teams to address RFPs and conceive branded content campaigns that are uniquely different from our competitors
• Engage with clients, acting as an editorial face of the Women Collection’s Branded Content Studio and assisting Sales and Producers in pitch meetings, both in pre-sale and post
• Manage and create social channels tied to branded content programs
