Quartz is looking for an Account Director to join our growing, all-star team of digital media professionals in an exciting, start-up environment in San Francisco. This is an opportunity to make an impact on major accounts at an exciting new brand that is built for today.
Responsibilities:
• Cultivate strong relationships through a consultative process involving on-site meetings and presentations with client and agency decision makers.
• Develop and deliver winning programs and proposals that lead to lasting and commercially successful advertising partnerships with a focus on branded content creation and innovative custom advertising.
• Inform ongoing business strategy development through deep knowledge and understanding of the industry, market, and trends.
• Serve as a representative of the Quartz brand in a positive, convincing, and enthusiastic manner.
Qualifications:
• Highly motivated, proactive self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit and desire to win.
• Ideally has relationships on both agency side and client side.
• Ability to take ownership and work independently to meet aggressive performance goals.
• Outstanding professional record of achievement.
• Strong interest in global business, high-quality content and online media.
• Excellent and persuasive communication skills, including an ability to create and deliver convincing arguments verbally and in writing.
• Strong interpersonal skills and strength in building lasting relationships internally and externally.
• Effective time management and organization skills.
