We are seeking an ambitious individual to join our FP&A team as a Financial Analyst. This position will be primarily responsible for building and managing recurring reporting, delivering actionable insights from ad-hoc data analysis, and striving to better understand user behavior. The successful candidate will leverage technical skills, business acumen, and creativity to inform strategic business and product decisions for Crunchyroll and VRV.
Responsibilities:
• Build and maintain recurring reporting to evaluate the performance of our business and guide strategic decision making
• Establish, evaluate, and report on key performance and financial metrics
• Conduct ad-hoc analysis and build complex financial models to drive actionable insights and support decision-making throughout organization
• Assist leadership in measuring and articulating business results
• Partner with the data engineering team to drive the development of our data infrastructure, including data warehousing, reporting, and analytics platforms
• Assist with the creation of key presentations (board meetings, leadership reports)
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree with a major or emphasis in Business, Mathematics,Statistics, or other quantitative field
• 2-4 years experience in an analytical / quantitative role
• Experience building and maintaining complex financial models and exceptional Excel skills
• Familiarity with relational databases and querying via SQL
• Ability to work with external reporting (Google Analytics) and visualization tools (Tableau)
• Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proven experience in identifying opportunities for business improvement and evaluating those initiatives
• Desire to learn new things, ability to thrive in entrepreneurial setting, and an infectious passion for making things better
