Role
The Account Manager, Inside Media Sales will work to sell print and digital advertising programs across all Dow Jones publications. This role will combine intuition and research to find and qualify leads in order to close revenue generating business at high volumes.
Responsibilities
• Generate revenue through selling digital and print advertising campaigns through inside selling
• Maintain, build and grow existing customer relationships and revenue through phone and email communications
• Act as an advocate for Dow Jones products to prospective clients (both organizations and individuals) across multiple regions
• Contact prospects/leads via telephone and email to secure new business
• Respond to all email and phone leads immediately and qualify the leads based on needs.
• Effectively conduct needs analysis and recommend advertising solutions
Skills & Experience
Required:
• 3-5 years of experience in an inside sales role
• Exceptional written, verbal, phone and presentation skills
• Ability to perform client analysis and research for best outcome
• Ability to answer client’s questions and successfully resolve issues and/or negotiate matters related to client’s business problems/objectives
• Demonstrated success exceeding sales quotas and goals
• Prior Media Sales experience
