Bloomberg LIVE is seeking a direct marketing manager to execute on audience development plans from start to finish for invitation-only corporate events that attract senior executives from across industries and functions. Under the direction of the head of audience, the direct marketing manager will be responsible for audience recruitment across all Bloomberg Live bespoke events.
We’ll trust you to:
• Work with the head of audience and internal marketing to create compelling direct marketing campaigns to secure event registrants
• Coordinate the scheduling and deployment of email marketing campaigns
• Conduct direct follow-up with invitees via phone and email to collect RSVPs
• Manage the event registration system
• Create audience nurturing campaigns to communicate event details and ensure strong attendance rates
• Deliver post-event reporting internally regarding event attendance and select demographics
• Identify audience targets and curating the invitation list
• Source contact information through a variety of channels including internal resources and screening databases
• Direct external outreach and development of compelling messaging
• Develop relationships with internal and external partners where necessary
You’ll need to have:
• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 2 to 5 years’ experience with direct email marketing
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• An understanding of major corporations; how they are organized, and the roles and responsibilities of different C-level executives
• Strong database organizational skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office applications with a particular knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience with event registration, email marketing systems, and CRM tools (Salesforce, Eloqua, Cvent)
