Job Summary
The Manager, Direct Marketing is responsible for executing residential Marketing Communication's efforts for direct mail and other direct marketing initiatives to drive sales, upgrades, and retention. Reporting to the Director, Direct Marketing, this role will facilitate implementation of creative executions that reflect the acquisition and upgrade strategy, support business goals and further the Brand.
We are seeking a candidate with a proven track record in developing high-impact integrated direct mail communication's programs and direct marketing initiatives within a test and learn environment. Candidate must have significant experience in developing and managing successful ongoing direct mail programs including experience managing variable data printing campaigns. Candidate must possess strong strategic thinking to optimize results, a creative eye with proven executional excellence and the ability to lead and motivate agencies and influence internal stakeholders across departments at Corporate and Divisional levels.
Oversee multiple large-scale projects simultaneously including, but not limited to:
-XFINITY Mobile, Acquisition, Upgrade and Sales Direct Mail Execution
-Agency & Division Relationship Management
-MarCom Direct Mail Process Management
Primary Responsibilities
-Manage the creative development and communication strategy of all direct marketing tactics for XFINITY Mobile, Acquisition and Upgrade marketing campaigns and programs, including: direct mail, brochures, sales letters, ad pages, free standing inserts and other projects
-Oversee creative development and strategic planning for quarterly sales initiatives
-Work with Legal and Brand to ensure legal accuracy and brand alignment of all tactics
-Measure effectiveness of any test/learn campaigns with program results in conjunction with the Marketing Strategy Team
-Work with corporate and divisional contacts, including Hispanic Marketing Communications Team, to assure consistency of brand voice, messaging, and outreach efforts
-Manage versioning agency relationship to ensure optimization of direct mail development resulting in reduced creative development times, strategic focus, and increased accuracies
-Manage creative agency relationship and inspire agency performance to deliver high-quality creative to meet business objectives on budget and on deadline
-Provide support for the regional markets in achieving their business goals, align their unique creative with the Corporate marketing plan
-Stay connected to Divisional results and identify Marcom opportunities to drive results
-Consult with leadership team regarding strategy, content, design, and production of all marketing materials and is responsible for ensuring accuracy of content before being communicated.
-Ensure that deadlines are met and deliverables meet specifications
Additional Requirements
-Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Business, Marketing or Marketing Communications
-Generally requires 6-9 years related experience in direct marketing leading direct mail programs Thorough knowledge of direct mail production including variable data printing
-Proven track record of executional excellence working with agencies and internal counter-parts including project management
-Highly organized and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously
-Eye for detail and the ability to ensure projects of any scale are delivered on time including initiatives involving multiple stakeholders
-Excellent interpersonal, presentation and written communication skills.
-Ability to rapidly shift priorities based upon marketplace demand
-Strong management skills and experience leading wide-scale initiatives
