Position Summary:
Responsible for the conception, writing, and production of show and channel audio production for multiple Sirius XM channels on the Talk Programming platform and contribute to marketing and sales efforts as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Write, voice, and produce creative and exciting promotional imaging and programming including spots, shows, long-form specials, and features across a broad range of talk formats and shows.
• Work with multiple departments to create additional material for on-air and marketing efforts.
• Be available for weekly on-call responsibilities.
• Stay up to date and current on production techniques and developments.
Minimum Qualifications:
• At least 5 years of production experience.
• Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
Requirements and General Skills:
• Strong writing, production, and editing skills in multi-media settings.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task under tight deadlines and within a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills; ability to interact and work with individuals at all levels.
• Willingness to take initiative and to follow through on projects.
• Meticulous attention to details.
• Comfortable working with talent, artists and high profile individuals.
• Must be willing and available to take on-callassignments.
• Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
Technical Skills:
• Proficient with Mac & P.C. Operating Systems and Digi-Designs, Pro-Tools software including multiple 3rd party plug-ins.
• Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
