Job Title
Art Director - Digital Marketing
The Art Director conceptualizes and designs assigned digital projects for Meredith Corporation. This position brings innovation, collaboration, and hands on design for UX/UI, digital ad campaigns, native units and comps, rich media, and video for clients. The Art Director works seamlessly with the digital art director, group creative director, programmers, marketers, project managers, freelance and vendors.
• UX/UI design, create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
• Design digital advertising campaigns for proposals while keeping the client’s goals and brand guidelines in mind (standard banners, rich media, emails, custom high-impact units)
• Execute post-sale creative for desktop and mobile (including custom destinations, social media trends, rich media, banners, etc)
• Fast learner on proprietary products
• Self-motivated, manage and design projects from initial concept to final production
• Strong organizational skills/flawless attention to detail
• Ability to multitask on multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Strong eye for color, layout, and typography
• Stay on top of industry trends and new technology as it relates to media and advertising
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements | All must be met to be considered.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic/Digital Design or related field, or equivalent training and/or experience.
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years experience as an art director supporting a sales and marketing department in publishing, media, or advertising. 8+ years total design experience.
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Expert in Photoshop, Illustrator. High proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook for Mac. Celtra and HTML knowledge a plus.
Accomplished design skills: composition, typography, color, image selection, all finely-tuned & sophisticated 'taste-level'
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to multitask, work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Ability to take direction, apply own creative skills, and direct staff and freelance talent as needed.
Great verbal and written communication skills.
