Position Summary:
The International Planning Department works very closely with the Eurosport and Discovery International sales team across the globe and support them in their efforts to grow the digital ad business. Some of the key department responsibilities include producing competitive media proposals matching client’s objectives, monitoring global inventory, educating sales teams on the latets digital trends, products and offering, managing the pre-and post – sales process and identifying new business opportunities.
The Digital Media Sales Planner will be responsible for supporting our faced paced International sales team based in London.
Digital planner’s primary objectives will be to participate in internal RFP brainstorms, develop bespoke media proposals across Discovery and Eurosport platforms, gather creative materials from clients and agencies, ensure campaigns are correctly set up and optimized and produce comperehsive post campaign analysis reports.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in the creation of international digital media plans and proposals
• Collaborate with internal research teams to communicate needs specific to digital sales in order to deliver effective sales proposals and commercial arguments
• Input digital orders into the ad server and monitor inventory
• Liaise with clients and external vendors to get the relevant artwork and tracking required for campaigns to go live
• Define clear objectives, and KPIs for all digital campaigns
• Actively participate in the campaign management process by liaising with ad operations to ensure correct campaign set up, reporting and optimization
• Produce end-of-campaign reporting and ad sales collateral
• Work with finance to ensure clients are invoiced accurately and on time
• Build and maintain good industry knowledge
• Provide outstanding customer service to both internal and external stakeholders
• Maintain excellent relationships with all departments
Requirements:
• Experience in a digital marketing, research or analytics role
• Self-starter. Ability to work under direction but also work with initiative to over deliver.
• Strong numerical skills
• Excellent relationship building and stakeholder management skills
• Highly organised and focused multi-tasker with strong attention to detail
• Flexible, organised and able to handle competing priorities
• Keen interest in digital advertising and creative production
