Client Relationship Manager – Pearson Test of English

Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic) is a high stakes language test which is growing rapidly worldwide, as a strong competitor to IELTS and TOEFL. The expanding team requires a self-starter to deliver a test recognition program for PTE Academic across higher and further education institutions in the states with an agreed global recognition strategy. The candidate will be required to deliver agreed recognition targets, ultimately positioning PTE Academic as the test of choice within institutions; will work with institutions to raise the profile of PTE Academic and related testing products, and will build brand awareness and demand for the test within their territory. The territory for this role is the Mid-West (12 states).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop and execute a tactical plan across higher education institutions within the territory, with the aim of securing the highest level of endorsement/use/status of/for PTE Academic.
• Build and manage relationships with Admissions Offices, International Offices and other university leaders and staff to secure the highest level of awareness and endorsement for PTE Academic.
• Using a mix of sales and influencing skills, convince university and college relationships of the benefits of PTE Academic.
• Proactively position PTE Academic and expand brand and product awareness and understanding with key external stakeholders including education associations & networks
• Showcase PTE Academic at industry conferences, forums and events.
• Provide support to universities and colleges through the organization of workshops and seminars on English language testing.
• Keep informed about developments within higher education and with competitor activity.
• The role will require travel within the territory to meet with universities /colleges, attend events and other stakeholders.
Qualifications
• Ability to communicate professionally, clearly and effectively to target audiences. Highly developed oral, written and presentation skills.
• - Experience in building stakeholder relationships for commercial benefit.
• - Good influencing skills and the ability to convince through personal credibility.
• - Evidence of success in a sales role.
• - Previous education sales experience.

• Desirable:
