Sales Manager – Digital Commerce
Cumulus Media is seeking an exceptional candidate to join the Digital Commerce team as a Sales Manager! Ideal candidates will have 4+ years’ sales (preferably for a radio station) experience and a Bachelor’s Degree. The Sales Manager will contribute to all aspects of supporting local Cumulus markets with their Sweet Deals program as well as other Commerce assets. Responsibilities include; sales training at different levels for veterans and new sellers, assisting in developing annual market budget and a plan to achieve and exceed that budget, careful examination of all market deals to ensure they meet our Standards & Best Practice, Collaboration with market management and sellers on potential deals and going on sales calls (phone and in person) with sellers.
In this position you will have ultimate responsibility for the success of all offers for assigned markets. It will be the responsibility of the Sales Manager to work with our Sales Operations Team to publish quality offers (without error) and market those offers through various distribution channels. Candidates must be extremely detail oriented, thrive in a fast paced environment, and act quickly to identify opportunity and/or problems and recommend solutions.

Core Responsibilities
• Oversee the day to day sales/strategy effort of Sweet Deals ecommerce platform for multiple markets
• Conduct periodic sales training aligned with needs of sellers in each market
• Assist in developing annual Sweet Deals budget for each market
• Develop sales plans and strategies to help market achieve and exceed budget
• Be available for sales calls (phone and/or in person) with market staff
• Recognize potential issues and bring to appropriate personal
• Develop new deal targets and ideas
◦ Stay current with knowledge of ecommerce industry, rules and regulations of deal sites by state, competition within assigned markets and industry trends
◦ Ability to meet deadlines consistently and multi-task assignments
◦ Possess excellent interpersonal, oral and written communications skills
Requirements
• 3-4 years local radio sales experience (success with deal program preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree
• Strong written and verbal communication
• o Computer and Software Savvy. Familiarity with browser-based tools

# Ability to work cross functionally with internal teams
# Strong computer, communication, and analytical skills
# Able to identify and communicate issues which require immediate attention
