This position would fall under the Post Production department and be responsible for all aspects of delivery, including internal metadata management, as well as a liaison for inbound/outbound delivery requests. Ideal candidates will have 3-5 years of experience in a post production environment and excel in meticulous organization. Experience with DAM systems a plus. Delivery Asset Manager would be responsible for:
Experience:
• Have 3-5 years minimum experience in a post production environment, with skills revolving around asset management and delivery.
• Excel in meticulous attention to detail, with experience in a wide arrange of video formats, quality control, archiving and light-touch editing.
• Strong understanding of the current digital video landscape, with an ear to the ground of new technologies involving asset management and archiving.
• Working knowledge of enterprise digital asset management systems
Job Description:
• QA project deliverables (video, audio, documentation) for quality and adherence to required technical specifications.
• Receive and manage final delivery hard drives and sync necessary files to the server
• Assist in the creation of company-wide video archive procedures.
• Help manage CYRUS (metadata platform), which informs Video Operations and Marketing of upcoming content by air date.
• Assist with media requests - pull archived episodes, edit clips for executive presentations, transcode videos for external delivery partners.
• Communicate with Producers/Corporate Departments/Sponsors to ensure that assets are received from or delivered to third parties, per our technical specifications.
• Point of contact for all technical-related inquiries involving deliverable specs, transfer credentials, and send requests (via FTP, Signiant, Hightail, etc.).
