Job Summary:
This position will utilize a strong understanding of marketing research and creative software to deliver high-quality presentations and collateral materials to assigned sales team/s and high-priority clients. The position is NY based but will require frequent on-site visits to Allentown, PA office. (Position may also be based in Allentown, PA and require visits to NY office if preferred). The Director, Marketing Solutions will report directly to the Senior Vice President of Marketing and Creative.
This position will require the 5 skill sets listed below;
1. Ideation– The creative thinking needed to craft a story/marketing strategy promoting our brand/products/concepts.
2. Research – Ability to provide the data that supports the ideation. Nielsen, Kantar, Internet, etc.
3. Visualizations – Ability to create photo-realistic renderings using Photoshop for clients to visualize our products and ideas.
4. Presentation Development – Strong PowerPoint and InDesign skills to develop pitch kits and collateral combining the ideation, visuals and supporting research.
5. Communication – Work as part of a Nation wide team to provide our sales staff, agencies and clients with high quality/effective marketing materials.
Role Responsibilities
• Provide high quality proposals and presentations to assigned sales team/s to make impactful statements among large national client base.
• Provide data/insights/profiles utilizing various market research tools such as MRI, Kantar and Nielsen
• Formulate innovative marketing strategies and promotional campaigns among vertical target accounts.
• Provide actionable recommendations based on strategic marketing research & customer insight.
• Present marketing concepts to clients in conjunction with sales team.
• Develop and manage relationships with internal and external clients
• Assist with client management throughout the entire selling and execution process
• Oversee post-event recap presentations including, but not limited to PPT and video reels
• Organize, update, release and archive marketing collateral on an on-going basis
Required Qualifications
• A strong working knowledge of programs including but not limited to; Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience in, or understanding of Media, Marketing or a related field.
• Understanding of research and applicable use of marketing tools
• Strong verbal, written and presentation skills with an emphasis on detail
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent organization, planning, multi-tasking and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced work environment
• Understanding of social media
• Basic photography skills
Education
Minimum of 4 year degree and 5 years related experience.
