Job Title
Associate SEO Editorial Manager
I. Job Summary | Major goals and objectives.
This position is primarily responsible for integrating content within Meredith Digital and organic revenue growth within Consumer Revenue properties. This position will work closely with the Meredith Performance Marketing team, Consumer Revenue Editorial, and Meredith Digital to maximize organic traffic through content.
II. Essential Job Functions

45% ● Manage, assign, and execute SEO strategy for Consumer Revenue properties.
● Monitor, analyze, and report organic traffic and revenue.
● Implement site error clean-up.
● Execute technical SEO tactics working with developers and other key stakeholders.
● QA development releases for Consumer Revenue properties.
● Produce SEO content strategies for editorial team.
● Provide SEO direction for editorial team.
● Lead, inform, and teach the editorial team on proper implementation of SEO within content.
● Conduct SEO-based tests to determine the most effective revenue drivers.
● Continually seek new SEO initiatives to help produce more effective revenue paths from SEO, social, email, and referral traffic.
● Build relationships and work as the liaison with partners to develop SEO content for the Consumer Revenue properties.
40% ● Execute content assignments to help reach SEO initiatives and revenue-based efforts.
● Produce editorial content and see it through to completion.
● Assist in planning and executing content strategy.
● Collaborate with digital and print editors to create quality content.
15% ● Manage the content schedule for the editorial team so that it aligns with SEO strategy.
● Manage and review incoming content for SEO accuracy.
● Work with Senior SEO & Editorial Manager on broader initiatives.

III. Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements | All must be met to be considered.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, PR, or related field, or equivalent training and/or experience.
Experience:
Minimum 3 years experience in SEO or digital marketing and writing for an online publisher or brand.
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Must haves:
• Strong knowledge of search engine optimization (SEO)
• Digital marketing experience including social and email marketing
• Excellent writing and editing skills
• Strong knowledge of online media
• Previous experience with of SEO tools
• Ability to read and dissect code
• Ability to work well as part of a cross-functional team
Helpful:
• Knowledge and background in the home and retail categories
