Teen Vogue’s Branded Content Editor works as a liaison between the editorial team and the advertising team, conceiving, managing and executing branded content in Teen Vogue Magazine, on TeenVogue.com and across Teen Vogue’s digital channels. This person will lead
Teen Vogue’s overall branded content strategy by coming up with innovative, 360-degrees ideas for content that meet our advertisers' objectives, entertain our readers, and stay true to the Teen Vogue editorial voice. The role is equal parts left and right brain.
The Branded Content Editor will work in close partnership with the Teen Vogue editorial and business teams and extended network of influencers to execute premium content that is sticky and salable. During the creation of a campaign, this role is the creative lead, the primary storyteller, shepherding native advertising projects through development: overseeing the ideation and creation of high-quality content, coordinating the efforts of multiple teams, and ensuring campaign success.
Responsibilities:
• · Collaborate with Social Media Strategists to develop concepts for new materials
• · Conceptualize original, ambitious multimedia native advertising campaigns that translate our clients’ objectives into great content
• · Dream up “never been done before” built-if-sold programs that help win new business
• · Work with both the sales and editorial teams on campaign development
• · Give direction for sourcing writers, directors, producers, editors, designers and any other necessary talent. Manage those resources and cultivate the relationships
• · Move between different types of projects, from articles, to videos, to slideshows, or something entirely new.
• · Assist the video team in ideating and creating video assets to support campaigns
• · Collaborate with Social Media Strategists to develop concepts for new materials
Requirements:
• · A proven history of creating impactful branded or sponsored content
• · Overall digital know-how and an innate understanding of the stories that will be successful for an online audience
• · At least 2 years of experience at a digital publisher’s in-house branded content/native advertising studio
• · Ability to work quickly and efficiently and pitch new, exciting ideas on a consistent basis
• · 4+ years in editorial, advertising, and/or content marketing
• · BA, BS, or equivalent degree
