Wisconsin Media,part of the USA TODAY NETWORK, and the leader in delivering engaging news and information, has an immediate opening for an Account Coordinator. We deliver an engaged audience using a variety of sophisticated tools and resources, and provide our clients the integrated marketing expertise to help them meet their goals.
We are seeking an innovative, experienced and proactive Account Coordinator to provide administrative, clerical, and data entry support to the sales organization, utilizing deep understanding of the company's multimedia solutions. This role is responsible for scheduling customer ads and traffics artwork; reviews and coordinates proof changes with Account Manager. Resolves ad scheduling issues. Utilizes proficiency in office technologies to support sales teams. Assists with any technology upgrades. Accurately sets up new customer accounts, contracts, etc. Assists with account reconciliation needs. Proactively initiates projects as needed to support sales team and exceed customer expectations. Effectively manages multiple tasks and projects in a timely manner to meet deadlines. Supports promotional and marketing projects as needed.
Responsibilities:
• Supports Account Managers, Account Executives, Sales leader, and other internal departments throughout 5-Step Sales Process: 1. Plan & Prepare; 2. Evaluate Needs; 3. Build the Solution; 4. Present & Close; 5. Follow Through. Handles all other duties as requested
• Regularly communicates with team members on upcoming changes; anticipates needs of teammates.
• Works with fellow Account Coordinators as needed to balance workload. Notifies supervisor of potential work overload or future scheduling issues
• Drives process improvements and initiates positive, constructive change
• Gains trust of teammates and builds consensus
• Embraces and quickly adapts to changes
Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required along with some experience in marketing, advertising or related fields
• 1-3 years’ experience in account service or customer service in a professional environment, Media industry experience preferred
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects effectively under deadline pressure
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint required; SalesForce.com or other CRM preferred.
• Aptitude or acumen for digital marketing
