U.S. News & World Report is seeking a paid intern for our consumer-oriented automotive site, usnews.com/cars. This one-year internship in our Washington, D.C. office is ideal for recent college graduates with the research and fact-checking skills to support our publication processes.
Our ideal teammate is deadline- and detail-oriented and has excellent communication skills. You’ll gain experience working with a content management system, data gathering, online publishing and fact checking. Note that this is not a writing position. This is a great opportunity for a highly-motivated individual to expand his or her experience in online media.

Requirements:
Utmost attention to detail
Ability to work on deadlines and handle several tasks simultaneously
Strong communication and organizational skills
Experience gathering, processing and analyzing data from multiple sources
Intermediate-level experience using Microsoft Excel (calculations, sorting, filtering, etc.)
Our internship rate is $13 an hour, and health benefits are available.
