The Fort Collins Coloradoan, part of the USA TODAY NETWORK, is seeking a Pied Piper of Colorado culture to help Northern Colorado residents live their best lives in one of the top places to live in the country.
The go and do reporter will be responsible for delivering engaging content for Cache, the Coloradoan’s weekly culture and entertainment section. More importantly, he or she will keep a finger on the pulse of a vibrant music, entertainment and recreation scene in Fort Collins and beyond.
The perfect candidate will know when the next big thing on the indie music scene is coming through Fort Collins, and will be able to share with readers five great spots to go stand-up paddle boarding. He or she will have a knack for adventure and whimsy, paired with a concise and direct delivery of the news across Coloradoan and social media platforms.
Your role:
• Produce compelling enterprise coverage of Northern Colorado’s cultural and recreational offerings
• Develop alt-form, listicle, video and social content that helps readers connect with the best “go and do” opportunities Colorado has to offer
• Share personality and voice through various social media platforms and live events
• Produce content for the Coloradoan’s weekly Cache cultural publication
The hourly position may include night, weekend and holiday hours. Qualified candidates should have a degree in journalism or similar field.
