Provide statistical data analyses and other advanced quantitative analyses to address critical business issues and to support strategic decision making for the company. Conduct business analysis against variety of requests, leveraging innovative data mining, statistical analysis, and data aggregation skills. Communicate findings to deliver actionable insights to business partners and collaborate with other teams on program implementation.
MAJOR JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide timely insights on drivers of business performance including drivers of customer behavior such as product up sell and customer loyalty.
• Build statistical models to forecast baseline expected performance and isolate lifts from changes in marketing tactics.
• Deliver holistic insights against key marketing segments using internal billing data, Census / macroeconomics, and third party demographic data.
• Inform marketing activity by creating profiles of target marketing segments and subsets of customers exhibiting distinct behaviors.
• Review integration of internal and third party data to maximize accuracy and completeness of demographic and macroeconomic overlays.
• Develop presentation quality materials to communicate business implications of findings to business leaders and marketing partners.
• Provide support on a mix of ad hoc and recurring projects, including converting recurring projects to efficient ongoing processes.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
• Ability to manipulate data and perform advanced statisical analysis on large datasets in SQL, SAS, R, etc
• Strong working knowledge of database / data manipulation, statistical analysis and BI tools
• Knowledge of census and external demographic sources
• Ability to communicate technical details and business findings in a clear manner
• Advanced proficiency with Excel, and PowerPoint; proficient in other desktop applications
Education
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics or other quantitative/ data analytics field. Master’s or MBA strongly preferred.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Skills /Abilities and Knowledge
• Knowledge of cable television, high speed Internet and phone products and services preferred
