The Hearst Brand Development team is seeking an Associate Director to work across Hearst and translate/author/position brand relevant products for licensing. Brands include Seventeen, House Beautiful, and Country Living to name a few. Successful candidate will have 4+ years of marketing experience preferably in a media, marketing, or licensing company.
• Coordinate with business sales to author & position new business concepts/pitches relevant to brand and category of business
• Research, author positioning, strategy, heaving lifting on copy writing on various forms of collateral across brand/media (pitch decks, one sheets, additional sales collateral,packaging, consumer guides,website, social media,etc.)
• Develop, implement, evaluate, adjust comprehensive marketing plans for licensees across platforms/media
• Research alternative campaigns for efficiency and viability within our brand extensions
• Interface/coordinate with internal and external marketing departments to drive awareness & conversion (licensee and retailer)
• Navigate & maintain consistent contact with internal & external media to ensure promotion
• Interface closely with creative department to develop concepts/collateral
• Mentor manager and associate level staff on marketing needs & execution
