EuroFinance is seeking an experienced marketing data analyst to effectively turn data into insight, and insight into key business decisions.
You will work exclusively on EuroFinance projects but be part of the Economist Group’s central Insight and Data Science team, which has a remit to advance a culture of data-driven decision making throughout the organisation. This team combines BI developers, insight analysts and data scientists, creating many opportunities for sharing ideas and developing new technical skills.
Accountabilities:
In this role, you will be expected to:
• Draw insights from multiple data sources to improve marketing strategy and ROI
• Report on the effectiveness of key marketing channels including email, web, social media and PPC.
• Identify and segment customer groups to improve retention and acquisition
• Produce ad-hoc analysis of customer and market data to assist with big picture strategic decisions and new projects
• Strategically grow the marketing database by establishing the potential market and identifying gaps
• Measure and monitor the overall health of the marketing database
• Manage the data assistants based in India, responsible for cleaning and researching our data
Experience, skills and professional attributes:
To succeed in this role you must have:
• Previous marketing experience with proven ability to use research and analytics to improve ROI
• Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Strong working knowledge of SEO, google analytics, email marketing, social media monitoring tools and business research tools (ideally, Qlikview)
• Ability to process, interpret and manipulate complex information
• Strong communication and presentation skills (able to influence senior stakeholders decision making)
