Workforce Readiness - Content Production & Digital Studio
Role Description
The Digital Content Producer for the Workforce Readiness Content Production & Digital Studio team will work across that group and focus his/her efforts on managing the digital content creation for the Career and Student Success discipline. The Digital Content Producer will help to ensure product assembly and execution of the product build according to specified objectives - volume, cost, time and quality. The Digital Content Producer will work closely with cross-functional tools and teams to understand how to best manage, store, and deliver Career and Student Success content. The Digital Content Producer is part of the team that executes annual plans and organizes and prioritizes tasks and teams to ensure delivery within articulated budget and roadmap. The Digital Content Producer works with other parts of the organization as necessary to ensure support in attaining output, quality and productivity.
The Digital Content Producer is responsible for:
• content production of selected digital and supplement content.
• applying content structure, enrichment standards, and other compliance standards (e.g. accessibility).
• digital courseware content that will be used in building proof of concepts.
• understanding and effectively utilizing technical platforms and content management systems.
• identifying and managing vendors for quality compliance, schedule and budget, and providing feedback on performance.
• communication across cross-functional teams to help develop workflows for the Career and Student Success team.
• managing the change control process, and impartially resolving process issues and bottlenecks, as applicable for current and developing processes.
• communicating with teams and building processes that support content development and production workflow for legacy, current-gen and next-gen product.
• supporting the delivery of efficacy requirements at product lifecycle stage gates in content development.
• including in program-planning the addition of content metadata and ensuring that content is sufficiently enriched and appropriately formatted to deliver efficacy analytics for high impact on learner outcomes.
Qualifications
Related work experience
• Minimum of 2-4 years managing small to medium-sized project/initiative teams using project management tool sets (SmartSheets, MS Projects, etc.)
• Proven track record of communicating and influencing senior level management and stakeholders
• Experience managing content and production workflows within technical environments - planning and delivering technical products and experiences
• Proven success in risk identification, monitoring and mitigation; development and use of change control processes are especially important
Formal education or equivalent
• Strong academic grounding – BA required
• Project Management certification, PMP (PMI) or equivalent desirable
• Optional: Agile education or certification
