Pre Press Production Assistant, Crown
The Pre-Press team with the Production department at Crown Publishing Group, seeks a Production Assistant to support its day-to-day and strategic tasks. Responsibilities include:
• Typesetting/Page layout in InDesign
• Color correction and retouching via Photoshop
• Digital support for the Production department
• Working with Designers and Printers in creating final printer-ready PDFs
• Light administrative duties
The ideal candidate will have:
• Some experiencing designing for books and/or magazines
• Office experience, preferably in publishing industry
• Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (version 6 or later)
• Ample experience and comfort with typesetting in InDesign
Applicants must be deadline-driven, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with different team dynamics.
