Bloomberg New Energy Finance (BNEF) – Sales, Hong Kong
Bloomberg New Energy Finance (BNEF) helps our clients gain a clear perspective on the technologies and financial, economic and policy trends driving the energy transformation. BNEF is online, on mobile and on the Bloomberg Terminal. We are a subscription service providing research and analysis to key partners across the energy value chain, including but not limited to, utilities, developers, governments, NGO's, equipment manufacturers, oil and gas, and financial services. The role:
BNEF is looking for a dynamic self-starter to join our Greater China Commercial Team in Hong Kong as a Sales Representative. You will have an annual sales target, be responsible for acquiring new client relationships, and managing a book of existing clients. You will be expected to work partnership with BNEF, Bloomberg analysts, and sales colleagues to generate new business across our web and Terminal product offerings within their territory.
We'll trust you to:
• Generate leads for new BNEF clients in Greater China
• Sell BNEF subscriptions to new clients
• Manage, renew, and grow revenue from individual book of business
• Work on strategic development of key client relationships
• Provide constructive feedback to product and analysis teams regarding client needs
• Manage proposals and contracts
You'll need to have:
• Bachelor's Degree or above
• A strong interest in renewables and/or energy
• Prior experience in Sales or Account Management
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
• Motivation toward individual as well as team performance
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Mandarin
We'd love to see:
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Experience with renewables and or/energy
• Flexibility and capability to deal with a wide range of responsibilities
• Experience with the Bloomberg Terminal
