Airbnb is currently seeking a B2B Marketing Operations Manager to join the team responsible for a Airbnb’s growth in the Business Travel segment. Business Travel is a high growth segment for Airbnb, and marketing operations will be critical for the team’s success. The Manager will report to the Director of B2B Strategy and Operations be responsible for our B2B marketing technology, B2B marketing analytics and overall process and operations. The Manager will lead the implementation of our Marketing Automation Platform (MAP) and integration with the CRM, as well as collaborating with Product Marketing and external agencies to develop the campaign strategy and execution. Experience managing and leading MAP/CRM integration projects and interacting with high-level sales and marketing executives required.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Marketing Automation
• Lead the implementation and configuration of a marketing automation platform and integration with CRM
• Administer the marketing automation platform, managing the strategy, roadmap and data quality
• Manage relationship with marketing automation vendors to understand application roadmap, planned enhancements and updates
• Work with outside agencies and internal technical teams on systems integration
Campaign Operations Management
• Architect global demand generation campaigns within the marketing automation system, working closely with Product Marketing on campaign design and execution
• Implement and optimize campaigns in the marketing automation system
• Coordinate with Marketing and PR teams on content syndication via paid and unpaid channels
Marketing Process
• Lead the development of the B2B content marketing operations and process
• Continuously analyze operational processes to find and implement new efficiencies
• Work closely with Product Marketing, Brand Marketing and Performance Marketing teams to coordinate content development, syndication and tracking
Lead Management
• Collaborate with Sales Operations and Head of Sales to develop lead and opportunity management process
• Develop lead scoring system with input from Sales, Marketing and Account Management
Analytics and Reporting
• Determine key metrics to monitor business success of marketing campaigns
• Analyze marketing campaign performance and optimize campaigns as needed
• Create feedback loop to Product Marketing around campaign and content design
QUALIFICATIONS
• 10+ years professional experience, with at least 4 years in Marketing Automation
• Bachelor degree or equivalent in Marketing, MIS or Business Administration
• Proven experience interfacing with high-level sales and marketing executives
• Good understanding of relational data structure and basic SQL knowledge preferred
• Must have a good understanding of the web and web technology (HTML, basic CSS) and the ability and desire to grow your technical skillset
• Previous experience in or working closely with Information Systems, Marketing and Sales Operations
• Experience establishing and maintaining system documentation and training materials
• Interpersonal skills: exceptional verbal/written communication, listening, and presentation skills with attention to detail
• Proven track record of obtaining results without direct report authority
• Highly self-motivated contributor who works well as an individual and within a team environment
• Excellent organizational skills; capacity to manage multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously, cross-functional teams and communicate with all levels of management
• Works well in a fast-paced environment, often under tight deadlines
• Strong business, marketing and information systems acumen
