Overview of the Role:
Bell Media is looking for a Project Manager to join its digital team in Montreal. The Bell Media digital team is responsible for the design, development and delivery of promotional, relational and transactional websites for the Bell Media brands (TV, Radio, Internet). The position requires proficiency in ensuring that projects are delivered per scope, budget and timelines. Main activities include coordinating among different teams, performing multiple tasks on several projects at a time or on several aspects of the same project simultaneously.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure delivery of projects and products within the appropriate Agile methodology, using frequent iterative and learning cycles
• Participate in project analyses and understand the solutions emerged in collaboration with the Product Owner, UX and UI team and engineering
• Work with the Product Manager to define the roadmap for any given product and translate this into user stories.
• Provide project documentation using the Atlassian Confluence tools (calendar, reports, etc.)
• Participate in planning sprints using tools like Jira and Confluence
• Insure communication with project stakeholders
• Manage project budgets (forecasting, hours, approval of invoices, estimates)
• Attend quality assurance sessions for websites and other applications
• Contribute to the implementation of processes and their improvement
Requirements:
• University degree
• Experience in project management in the field of interactive media and/or software development
• Significant interest in technology
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (French and English), ability to listen, understand and respond appropriately and effectively
• Ability to act proactively and work within a multidisciplinary team, located primarily in Montreal and Toronto
• Working knowledge of Jira and Confluence is an asset
• Flexibility, attention to detail and resourcefulness
• Working knowledge of Excel
