Yes? We're looking for a Director, Sales and Marketing Communications to join our team in New York.

As the Director, Sales and Marketing Communications, you will be responsible for building and executing integrated external communications strategies, programs, and actions that enable sales, drive perception and elevate brand positioning. This person will be working closely with the Vice President, Corporate Marketing to develop content, sales and communication strategies relative to the overall priorities and positioning of the company.
The ideal candidate is a creative, driven, hands-on, senior communications professional with exceptional communication and content development skills, plus lead as an ambassador for the organization by amplifying programs, product launches, and build our brand position in the digital advertising community.
What You'll Be Doing
• Develop strategic content and communications plan to advance IAS brand identity, increase sales and drive product awareness.
• Develop and implement pipeline acceleration programs jointly with sales
• Research, choose, design and manage live events to be included as tactics in the overall marketing mix, and ensure there is a cohesive pre-event, at-event and post-event strategy to increase engagement and response rates
• Interface with sales to determine sales enablement needs, and work with product/solution marketing to develop tools, programs in a box, training and content
• Forecast, measure, analyze and report on impact of programs
• Proactively engage with the direct and indirect sales teams to coordinate, communicate, and optimize the impact of marketing activities
• Evaluate, select and manage vendors that contribute to local demand creation programs including event venues and services, digital marketing agencies, direct mail providers, SEO experts, designers, copywriters and list brokers
• Develop and implement target account strategy to support account-based selling
• Communicate and educate the sales team regarding new and planned marketing activities including global, regional and local programs
What We'll Expect From You
• 7-10+ years relevant experience in advertising, tech, media or communications
• Demonstrated experience developing and managing a comprehensive communications program to advance an organization’s mission and goals
• Master story teller with high attention to detail and strong presentation skills
• Excellent persuasive written and verbal communications skills, including interpersonal and presentation skills
• Ability to work effectively in a matrixed environment and with blurry boundaries regarding roles/responsibilities
• Strong interpersonal skills and team player; has the ability to influence and motivate others
• A strong understanding of the tech startup and digital advertising industry
• Ability to be a strategic thinker one moment and jump back to details the next
• Proven ability to think ahead, engage proactively and take initiative
• Self-starter approach to work and strong problem solver
• BA/BS degree, MBA or advanced degree preferred
