Position Summary:
The Digital Media Ad Ops Coordinator supports the various online advertising sales teams to maximize revenue and enhance client relationship. This position will be responsible for managing and launching new ad campaigns across the Discovery portfolio of websites using the online advertising system and handling day to day operations.
Responsibilities:
• Support the ad serving needs of Ad-Sales across geographies including UK, CEEMA, and APAC including campaign trafficking, performance and reporting.
• Review all proposed contracts for QA, enter flight data into system and confirm with Ad-Sales.
• Work to ensure that each assigned campaign delivers in-full and contract revenue potential is fulfilled.
• Maintain knowledge of all ad products available on the Discovery portfolio including general availability and performance.
• Be responsible for campaign and creative implementation bringing campaigns live in tandem with campaign requirements.
• Verify quality assurance of all ads on supported browsers. Ensure ads load correctly and click through is functional.
• Create screenshots of all assets on the site once they have been uploaded and set live for final verification and ensure that implementation is correct.
• Responsible for advertising reporting including daily, weekly, and monthly requests from the Ad-Sales team.
• Make recommendations and adjustments based on reporting results and optimize campaigns for most efficient use of the site.
• Ensure all campaigns fulfill contract requirement.
• Potential to support international programmatic efforts.
Requirements:
• BA / BS or equivalent desirable
• Previous experience in the media industry or online advertising environment
• Freewheel or equivalent ad server experience (DFP, OAS, Adtech, SmartAdserver, etc) necessary
• Working knowledge of basic front end technical languages: HTML, CSS, JAVASCRIPT
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Must be detail orientated with an analytical mindset
• Must have the ability to correspond via email professionally and communicate with agencies and clients
