Production Planner - Newsprinters
Full Time
The Production Planner role is responsible for coordinating all production planning activities across our print sites, in liaison with our print and logistics operations teams. A key part of this role is the effective optimisation of both current and future capacity, supporting the senior management team to manage production and distribution effectively across our three print sites and to manage the introduction of new volume. The role will involve liaison with all customers to agree their requirements and to ensure effective communication of these to our print and logistics teams. The role will be based at our Broxbourne print site.
The successful candidate will:
• Plan and coordinate the production of new and existing products.
• Liaise closely with our Logistics team to ensure supply chain optimisation
• Have experience of working in a fast paced production environment
• Have the ability to read and understand SOPs and other policies and procedures
• Possess excellent computer skills,
• Have excellent numeracy skills as the role will support commercial costing.
• Be fully proficient in Microsoft Office,
• Have the ability to work independently, as well as within a team
• Be able to multi-task and work under pressure
• Have excellent communication skills, written and verbal
