Analyst, Digital Insights & Integration
Location: New York City

Reports to: Senior Analyst
Job Summary
The industry is changing. Marketers demand more than traditional reports; data is integral to strategy. This requires a new type of analyst, one that combines systematic thinking with strategic vision. Horizon Analytics is pioneering the field by introducing a client-centric group, tasked with development and integration of insights.
An analyst must command a knowledge of the industry and a proficiency in data. Analysts support a single client and are responsible of the cleaning, processing, and visualization of data within a structured report. They own reporting delivery and are expected to creatively solve data issues as they arise. Candidates must already have experience in data manipulation, automation, and analysis.

Main Responsibilities
• Support cross-channel measurement plans, cadenced reports, and post campaign analysis
• Collaborate with key internal skate-holders on client needs and strategic imperatives
• Educate and socialize the importance of data and analytics within the organization.
• Work with outside vendors and partners
• Develop stories with data that help clients identify and solve business needs
Knowledge and Skills Required
• Key behavioral competencies:
◦ Foundational analytic skills are required, including the ability to analyze raw data, draw conclusions, and summarize actionable recommendation and their forecasted outcomes/implications
◦ Knowledge of all aspects of digital advertising, creative performance, media strategy, and standard media measurement
◦ Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey and package technical finding in layman’s terms
• Experience with some media data sources (comScore, Milward Brown, Nielsen DAR/TAR/Brand Effects, MRI), third party ad serving platforms (Sizmek, DCM), web analytics (Omniture/Google Analytics), third-party validation (IAS, DoubleVerify), data visualization (Tableau), and attribution solutions (Visual IQ, Adometry)
