Job Description: VP, Campaign Strategy and Execution – Spectrum Enterprise
Reporting to the GVP, Enterprise Marketing, the VP, Campaign Strategy and Execution will be responsible for strategy, execution and optimization of Spectrum Enterprise campaigns that drive leads for new client acquisition and cross sell of products and services within our existing client base. Using market opportunity research, market sizing data, client, sales and product trend data as well as buyer propensity models, the VP will design and execute campaigns to attain lead goals that support Spectrum Enterprise network and managed cloud services sales teams. He/she will partner with the brand strategy, product marketing and vertical marketing teams to leverage brand messages, content, product positioning and vertical subject matter expertise to design well targeted and effective campaigns using direct response tactics, digital ads and traditional media. And will work directly with marketing operations to structure and deploy campaigns within our Eloqua and Marketo platforms and optimize tactic mix to maximum lead production and drive CPL performance.
Key Responsibilities:
• New Client Acquisition:We are looking for an Enterprise campaign and lead generation expert that can develop campaign strategies based on proven marketing best practices and modern marketing strategies targeted at IT and telecom services decision makers. This position is ultimately responsible for driving leads to the sales account executives to directly contribute to overall sales productivity, achievement of product goals and attainment of division revenue goals as well as specific MQL, SQL and CW KPIs. Teams.
• Current Client Cross Sell and Upsell Programs: This position will work closely with the sales leadership team to develop account based marketing goals and programs to protect and grow revenue from our current client base. Campaign efforts will be a combination of direct response tactics and rep enablement tools that promote additional usage of current products, addition of new products and/or activation of existing products with no usage.
• Navisite Managed Cloud Campaigns: This position is also responsible for lead generation strategies, plans and tactics to drive Navisite sales success and will partner with the incumbent Navisite Marketing Strategist/Consultant who is the central owner of all Navisite marketing strategies, messaging, campaigns and programs. Candidate will work collaboratively to provide campaign execution resources and partner with product marketing, field marketing and product management teams to position Navisite and its service offerings appropriately in the IT and cloud industry and within the existing base of Spectrum Enterprise clients.
• Campaign Launch and Sales Support:Support launch of campaigns to inbound sales, BDR and field sales teams with development of campaign summary, talking points, conversation aids and client leave behind materials. This position will work collaboratively with brand and product marketing to provide resources for sellers that support the campaign and provide relevant product, competitive and offer details to convert leads to closed won sales.
Candidate Qualifications:
• 15 to 20 years of progressively responsible experience in marketing, demand or lead generation strategy, execution and communication (to include 7-10 years of relevant leadership experience of marketing teams larger than 15 employees). Prior experience in the enterprise B2B marketing is required. Telecom marketing experience preferred.
• Candidate must have experience leading large lead generation teams in the enterprise fiber and/or cloud services industries with specific understanding of service delivery challenges and promotion of a challenger brand in enterprise telecom marketplace withtraditional direct response lead generation, digital campaigns, and B2B marketing supported by a multi-million dollar budget.
• Ability to understand and analyze market sizing and prospect segmentation data, develop unique customer insights and translate them into detailed and concrete marketing strategies with proven prior experience in developing and executing large scale campaigns using Eloqua and Marketo.
• Experience with modern marketing strategies and platforms enabled by marketing automation, customer relationship management systems, segmentation and personalization strategies, and digital targeting marketing platforms as well as in-depth knowledge of the latest techniques in account-based marketing and complex account marketing strategies.
• Must have sales or sales support experience in the enterprise technology space with substantial experience working with sales to open new accounts and/or expand sales in existing accounts. Manage daily/weekly/monthly interaction with Mid Market inbound sales and Cloud business development teams.
• Must be able to multi-task across at multiple different functional teams, agency partners and 60+ marketing team members.
• Undergraduate degree required.
