I. Job Summary | Major goals and objectives.
The Director of Entertainment Content & Talent Development for KVVU requires an experienced, well balanced and collaborative executive leader. This position leads and manages all aspects of MORE and MORE Access Shows as well as special projects and specials. Duties will also include talent develop for MORE but also in coordination with the KVVU News Director assist in developing KVVU Anchors, Reporters and MMJ’s. Additional responsibilities may include special consulting or talent development as determined by VP/News and Marketing. Continuous focus on viewer satisfaction and ratings. This position will coordinate and execute Entertainment Goals and responsibilities to ensure our entertainment product is consistently delivered and MORE team members are exceptionally focused on delivering consistently outstanding performance and high quality productions in alignment with our Company Culture. Part of the position also entails Talent Development which has primary accountability in driving organizational performance through the development of talent. This position is also responsible for the needs analysis, recommendation and delivery of various programs and learning activities targeted to the development of a high performance culture and a strong leadership bench for the company. Areas of emphasis include leadership development, business critical competency development, succession and talent planning, individual development planning.

Education:
Bachelors in Communications or higher
Experience:
5 Years in Talent Development and Entertainment
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to manage a team, able to manage projects and meet goals. Scheduling and coaching employees.
% Travel Required (Approximate): 20%
