Director, Special Events
Here you’ll get to:
• You will have direct contact with the companies' owner and will assist with tickets for US based events, music, sport and theatre.
• Assisting in the co-ordination of special events for Chairman and CEO of Recorded Music.
• Assisting with the Planning of global events such as the Grammys.
• Coordinate customer invitations solicitations, advanced and onsite registration and post-event follow-up and evaluations.
• Research available venues and recommend event sites; investigate, select, negotiate and manage services with vendors including caterers and event support.
• Prepare budgets and forecasts, and compile summaries of total event costs, cost-per-contract, audience profiles and attendees' comments.
• Dealing with sponsors and other companies involved in the coordination of these events.
• Bookings of restaurants on behalf of the Chairman and CEO of Recorded Music's office and keeping them up to date with new openings.
It would be music to our ears if you also had:
• A minimum of +3 years of related VIP Special Events Planning experience.
• A strong knowledge of and contacts within restaurants, venues, music promoters, tickets agencies etc. Ideally covering both New York and Los Angeles.
• A keen interest in event design.
• Self-starter who thrives in a fast paced, highly visible role and is able to work independently within a company.
• Highly motivated and demonstrates exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility and high level of attention to detail.
