SUMMARY
Hulu’s Marketing Analytics team is seeking a Content Marketing Analyst who will be an exceptional addition to our growing team and support the Content Marketing Strategy and Planning team. The core mission of the Content Marketing Strategy and Planning team is to prioritize, leverage and optimize the best of Hulu’s content across the organization’s efforts in Subscriber Acquisition, Engagement, and Retention by using data analytics, analyzing the competitive marketplace, and working across teams in addition to with senior executives to help inform strategy and drive through execution. As the Content Marketing Analyst, you will be a key player in analyses for the Marketing team. This will entail deep analysis of performance data for internal consumption as well as the relentless pursuit of better ways of managing complex reporting processes. This hands-on role will work with marketing, product, originals, license, and data science teams to support content marketing strategies. The right person for this role has experience with advanced analytics, strong attention to detail, sets a high bar for him/herself, likes to solve problems, is intellectually curious and an innovator. WHAT YOU’LL DO
• Develop deep analyses using descriptive analytics and advanced quantitative methods to optimize our content marketing efforts, informing campaign spend, timing, content and channels.
• Analyze content marketing campaign effectiveness, identifying business growth opportunities and provide insights to internal groups
• Measure and report on the results to be able to gauge content effectiveness across various campaigns and build more impactful content recommendations in the future based on those learnings
• Create reporting and dashboards for key metrics to illustrate progress against goals to support team activities and report to management on regular basis
WHAT TO BRING
• 3-5 years’ experience in a quantitative business analysis role, digital marketing and entertainment experience highly valued
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such Economics, Business/Marketing, Ops Research, etc. from a top-tier university. Graduate degree highly valued
• Highly competent with quantitative data analysis and utilizing data to drive decision-making, specifically related to marketing effectiveness
• Experience with the following tools/languages: SQL, Excel, R/SAS or other statistical package, PowerPoint, Tableau
• Demonstrated experience using statistical, econometric, machine learning or data mining techniques
• Experience creating dashboards and reporting using industry standard tools
• A detail-oriented, well-organized mindset with a high sense of urgency
• Ability to tell a story with data both verbally and visually
• Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously, change priorities seamlessly, and remain calm under pressure
• Strong time management skills
