Who We Are:
The Twitter Financial Planning & Analysis team provides the executive leadership team with timely and unbiased financial analyses and insights to inform critical business decisions. You will be a key member of the FP&A team supporting one or more of our internal Business Units - providing a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the success of the company.
What You'll Do:
As the financial analyst, you will be expected to:
• Play a key role in the financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and month end processes
• Become the Subject Matter Expert for your business at all levels while owning the P&L
• Investigate detailed drivers of spending within a business unit and translate that into insight for recurring reporting to executives
• Leverage data and financial analysis, creativity and business understanding to research and discover business growth opportunities
• Design, develop & deliver insightful on-going reports/analyses for internal customers
• Initiate, drive and implement improvements of processes; constantly look to invent and simplify
• Be personable, approachable and able to connect with each and every person on the team and throughout the business
Who You Are:
• Superior Excel skills and proficient PowerPoint skills
• You have experience in automation in Excel and/or Google Docs preferred
• You have a strong ability to work collaboratively across different functions
• Strong analytical skills
• You have strong written and spoken communication skills; ability to connect with team members
• Desire to work in a fast paced and ambiguous environment
• Tableau or other data visualization experience is a plus
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher with an excellent academic record
• 2+ years of work experience, preferably in a planning & analytics capacity
