Job Summary:
The Business Process Analyst is responsible for effectively and efficiently creating process routines using automation software. Also responsible for the management, research and execution on projects and initiatives, or specific activities related to department processes and systems improvements within budget and at the highest level of quality and customer service.
Responsibilities:
• Work with business team to analyze and assess automation feasibility, translating business requirements into RPA technical design document
• Configure automation processes as prescribed by internal Center of Excellence (COE) standards
• Develop code/script to meet the defined design/solution approach
• Ensure quality of coded components by performing end to end unit testing
• Provide implementation and post production support for scripts
• Identify repetitive process and system issues, collaborating with other teams to implement process and technical changes to close gaps
• Partner with business to identify opportunities for "reuse" of existing bot components to drive further organizational efficiencies
• Keep current on latest in Robotic Process Automation, prioritizing personal development within existing RPA infrastructure while promoting broader awareness to emerging technologies
• Support RPA COE in the creation and ongoing refinement of an appropriately tailored RPA solution that provides the optimum platform for rapid and repeatable delivery of automated processes
• Ensure timely and comprehensive execution of process documents in compliance with RPA COE standards (to include Process Design documents, Technical Design documents, Automation Solution flow charts, etc.)
• Support the development of end-user documentation and training materials as required for new functionality and processes
• Schedule and monitor execution of existing RPA processes, ensuring ongoing automation integrity, acceptable performance & troubleshooting
• Support and drive change management of existing processes as per new requirements using a structured change control process
• Provide a periodic scorecard to key stakeholders, communicating the ongoing value realized through RPA & manual efforts required to maintain
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree Required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including good client interaction skills with the ability to present technical details to a non-technical audience, as well as produce clear and concise written documentation
• The aptitude to contribute to the evolution of methodologies and procedures in a controlled manner to continually improve a rapid and repeatable delivery channel
• A track record in the successful delivery and support of excel macros, Visual Basic scripts or other configuration/scripting type technology
• A self-starter who delivers high quality work and can adapt to new challenges, either on their own or as part of a team.
• The ability to work with a structured and methodical approach; aptitude for problem solving
• Understanding of workflow based logic and the ability to both understand a business process from a workflow diagram and to conceptualize it as an automated solution
• Demonstrated capability to lead, manage and complete multiple concurrent projects involving multiple stakeholders
• Proficient in relevant software e.g. Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• This person must be able to work with the pressure of regular deadlines.
